Rushed constitution might not stand taste of time – Ex MMD official

Former MMD Eastern Province Chairman Kennedy Zulu says a constitution whose enactment is rushed might not stand the taste of time.

Mr.Zulu has since advised against rushing the constitution making process.

He however notes that there is still hope of coming up with a new constitution under the PF as government has demonstrated commitment in delivering the new constitution.

He says it is the hope of every Zambian to have a new constitution which is not rushed to be able to stand the taste of time.

Mr. Zulu, who is now a PF Member, says there are serious issues in the current draft constitution that needs time to be studied before enactment into law.
