Political Scientist Dr. Alex Ng’oma has observed that the statement by Matero MP Miles Sampa that there is no reason for him to resign from the ruling Patriotic Front which he suffered for for 10-years will restore peace and order in the ruling party.
Dr. Ng’oma has also advised Zambians to stop peddling lies and allow affected people to clear out their names without denting their images negatively.
Dr. Ng’oma says there were a lot of insinuations more especially on social media after Mr. Sampa resigned as Commerce, Trade and Industry Deputy Minister and that people never allowed him to state his reasons behind his resignation.
He says it is good that the Matero lawmaker has finally come out in the open to clear all the insinuations that have been going round which he says bordered on dividing the party.
He says now that Mr. Sampa has stated his position in the party; it is up to party members to work on cementing their relationship ahead of the 2016 polls.
