Zayn Malik steps out in New York only to be captured with incredibly waxy ears

ZAYN Malik has had an unfortunate hygiene blunder as he stepped out in New York.

The former One Direction member was spotted wandering around Manhattan when a photographer snapped him at an incredibly unflattering angle.

It appears that poor Zayn forgot to use some cotton buds that morning, as the snap revealed his rather waxy ears.

Although Zayn, 22, looked stylish in a leather jacket and black jeans, fans of the former boy band member seemed quite put off by the waxy moment.

One fan tweeted: “can zayn like… wax his ears.”

However, this didn’t put off other fans from swarming him during his time in New York.

Fans of Perrie Edwards’ ex swarmed him outside his hotel in the hopes of getting a selfie with the star.

Zayn even posted a fan photo to his Instagram, turning girls green with envy over the lucky girl featured in the snap.

With plans to start a solo career in America, Zayn has been keeping a low profile, especially with One Directions new album, which is released today.

Let’s just hope Zayn remembers to clean his ears before his solo career takes off.
