Vice President Inonge Wina has dismissed as mere speculation reports indicating that Government plans to purchase a new presidential jet at a cost of US$50 million.
Responding to a question during the vice president’s question time by MMD Sinda Member of Parliament Levy Ngoma who wanted to find out the logic behind such a costly move when the country is facing harsh economic times, Ms . Wina says government has no plans to buy a new presidential plane.
She says this information can be verified through the perusal of the Yellow Book.
