Teachers’ recruitment completed

Government has disclosed that the final national selection for successful applicants to be recruited as teachers has been concluded.

Ministry of Education Spokesperson Hillary Chipango has told QFM News that the exercise was completed last week.

He says the names of successful candidates will be published in the shortest period of time.

Mr. Chipango explains that the recruitment exercise is a long process which requires a lot of time to be concluded.

He says there were a number of issues involved in the process such as thorough scrutiny of applications, leading to delay in completion of the process.

Mr. Chipango states that all the processes have now been concluded and the only thing remaining is the publication of the names of successful applicants.
