PPAZ urges men to take a role in family planning issues

Men have been urged to take an active role in supporting their wives to access and use contraceptives in family planning.

Planned Parenthood association (PPAZ) Executive Director Edford Mutuma says the uptake of contraceptives is still minimal due to low male involvement and misconception about the services.

Mr. Mutuma says this is why his organization has embarked on a campaign to spur men’s’ active involvement and promotion of uptake of contraception as a reliable family planning mode.
