Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has changed his hair colour for the second time in as many weeks. The Frenchman, 28, had dyed his hair blond but now boasts a slightly grey-looking colour. He posted on Instagram:  “New colour again, needed a change.”

Premier League players used Twitter to highlight the quality of Salford City’s second goal in their FA Cup win over Notts County on Friday. The side part-owned by former Manchester United players Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes went 2-0 up through Richie Allen.

“What a goal, what a game,” wrote Stoke striker Peter Crouch,  while Swansea winger Wayne Routledge opted to use an emoji.

A Chinese commentator has been removed from his post after falling asleep while on air during Real Madrid’s 1-0 win over Paris St-Germain. Dong Lu could be heard snoring as the game entered its latter stages.
