Development of new Kalulushi central business district underway

Kalulushi Mayor Bernard Mumba says the local authority has earmarked the development of a new central business district.

Bishop Mumba says the council has entered into an agreement with Chibuluma mine which owns a bigger piece of land in Kalulushi to give part of it to the council for the earmarked development of a new business district.

He says for a long time now, Kalulushi has had a very small shopping area.

Bishop Mumba points out that the new central business district will have among other things housing units, shopping malls, hotels among others.
