Development of Land Policy cheers ZLA

The Zambia Land Alliance has commended government for the efforts being made towards the development of a land policy.

ZLA Executive Director Margaret Chikolwa says her organisation is excited that efforts are being made by various stakeholders through different projects aimed at contributing to the development of a pro poor land policy.

She says the land policy once developed will bring about change in the way land is managed and will ensure there is justice in land administration.

Ms. Chikolwa adds that the land policy is important considering that many people depend on it for survival.

Ms. Chikolwa is however concerned with the limited time under which government wants the process to be finalised.
