Stakeholders have been vindicated over ICT lessons in schools – Levy Ngoma

MMD Sinda Member of Parliament Levy Ngoma says the hiccups experienced by most schools in conducting computer examinations has vindicated stakeholders who were not for the idea of introducing Information Communication Technology (ICT) lessons in schools.

Mr. Ngoma says what has befallen the pupils writing ICT lessons is a scandal which needs to be investigated and demands an explanation from government.

He says the situation put the pupils’ safety at risk.

Mr. Ngoma wonders why government came up with the policy when knowing very well that most schools in the country do not have enough computers and solar electricity.

Mr. Ngoma says ICT lessons would not be a success without electricity and computers.
