Political Scientist Alex Ng’oma has advised the Patriotic Front leadership against sidelining founding members in preference for new comers if the party is to remain strong ahead of the 2016 elections.
Dr. Ng’oma says founding PF Members who feel sidelined have so many reasons to complain considering that they worked so hard for the party.
He says it is important for the PF leadership to remember that people join and contribute to the growth of political parties because they want to be recognized and get benefits for their hard work.
Dr .Ng’oma says it does not make sense for old members to be sidelined at the expense of new comers when it comes to appointments.
And political activist Dante Saunders says the sidelining of PF founding members could cost the ruling party in the 2016 elections.
