MMD Spokesperson Raphael Nakachinda says Zambians should seriously consider returning the former ruling party to power in order to resuscitate the country’s ailing economy.

He says the MMD has a traceable track record having been in power for 20 years, and that if voted back into power Zambians will not be disappointed.

Mr Nakachinda says if voted back into power the MMD will assemble a team of experts to make things work again in the country.

He states that there is no doubt that given the right leadership, Zambia could rise again.

Mr Nakachinda says one of the things the MMD will do when voted back into power would be to review the current tax system, introduce business-friendly tax policies and incentives to strengthen the capacity of the private sector to create wealth and jobs.

He adds that the MMD will strive to create the right conditions and environment for businesses to operate optimally and transform the economy.
