Lungu hailed for engaging mining companies

President Edgar Lungu has been commended for the effort he has made to meet with mine owners over issues affecting the mining industry.

Nchanga Member of Parliament Wylbur Simuusa is delighted that President Lungu has now realized the seriousness of the situation in the mining industry.

He says now that issues to do with the mining industry have received the attention of the highest office in the land, he anticipates that mining companies will be genuine and sincere from now on.

Mr. Simuusa has told Qfm News that this is particularly that there is no other higher office other than the presidency the mines will talk to pertaining to their operational challenges.

He states that this is why he thinks that the decision that President Lungu has made to meet the Mines is a serious effort that should not be taken lightly.
