PF needs organized opposition in 2016 – Malambo

Opposition political parties have been advised to re-organize themselves ahead of the 2016 polls saying they will be facing a stable and organized ruling PF.

Governance Activist Maurice Malambo says the tight contest that was witnessed in January for the presidential by-election will not be the case during the tripartite elections.

Mr. Malambo has explained to QFM News in a walk in interview that the UPND performed better during January’s by election because the ruling party had so many factors working against them and that they had only a few days to campaign.

He says now that their wrangles were resolved and they are united, it will be difficult for the opposition to unseat them unless they reorganize themselves.

He adds that even if they emerge, it will still be difficult to beat the ruling considering that they are a more organized party.

And Mr. Malambo has advised all political parties to refrain from refereeing to certain locations as their strongholds saying such remarks have potential to divide the nation.
