Suzyo Zimba
The Islamic Supreme Council of Zambia has urged political leaders both from the ruling party and opposition to be careful with people surrounding them.
Council President Suzyo Zimba says often times, the people who surround political leaders are those who give them wrong advice and in the end tarnish their names.
He states that it is important that political leaders distinguish between good and bad advice coming from their advisors.
Mr. Zimba says this is especially that these advisors can also have their own agendas thus it is important that political leaders are careful with them and scrutinize the advice that they give.
He states that if political leaders know what the people of Zambia want and have the interest of the people at heart, they will do things not just because they have been advised but will do them in interest of the people of Zambia.
