Defending Super League champions Zesco United hope to silence the doubting Thomas’ on Wednesday when they visit Forest Rangers in a Ndola derby at Dola Hill.

On 63 points, Zesco cannot be usurped by second placed Zanaco who can reach that threshold in their remaining three games but cannot beat it thanks to the leaders massive goal difference.

A draw at Forest for Zesco will put an end to any doubts as to their successful title defence that will officially hand the Ndola side its fifth league title.

However, Zesco head into the match with some serious revenge on their minds against Forest.

Tenth placed Forest are one of two teams to beat Zesco this season.

Moreover, that second defeat of the season came at home across the road at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium where Zesco lost 2-1 to the promoted club.

Zesco welcome back for that big test coach George Lwandamina who is fresh from qualifying Zambia to its first African Nations Championship (Chan) finals since 2009.

Also back from Chan duty is striker Winston Kalengo who will be hoping to add to his 15 league goals this season as he homes in on the 2015 Golden Boot.
