Saunders demands to know money spent on constitution

Political Activist Dante Saunders has demanded to know how the country has lost in monetary terms towards the constitution making process.

Mr. Saunders says it is painful that the country has lost colossal sums of money towards the constitution making process which has not yielded any positive results so far.

He says according to the PF campaign promises of 2011, by now the country would have had a new supreme law of the land if the PF government fulfilled their promise.

Mr. Saunders says the government, through the Ministry of Justice, would do well to calculate how much the country has spent so far on the constitution.

And Mr. Saunders has encouraged President Edgar Lungu to give Zambians a new constitution.

He says it will be practically impossible for the PF to convince the people to keep them in office when they have totally neglected the wishes of the people over the constitution.
