Trade Unions in the Country have been reminded of their duty and responsibility of ensuring that workers get decent treatment at places of work.
The opposition Zambia Redemption Party has urged trade unions not to relent at bringing out concerns of workers to the attention of the government.
Party President Kelly Walubita has urged trade unions to bring out the injustice and deprivation being meted out to workers who are in indecent employment.
And Mr. Walubita has observed that it is regrettable that Zambian laws are silent on what constituted decent work.
He is concerned that having such inadequacies in the country’s labor laws has left workers vulnerable.
