Chama tips PF members ahead of 2016 polls

PF Secretary General Davies Chama has rallied his party members to overcome complacency and work with passion to retain the ruling PF in power in 2016.

Mr. Chama has asked his party members to avoid unnecessary distractions and petty internal squabbles that might slow the PF’s momentum to continue beyond 2016.

He is urging PF members to focus not only on retaining the party’s parliamentary seats in the country but to also increase its share of the presidential votes.

Mr. Chama has particularly reminded party members of the limited time that is left before the 2016 general elections.

He states that party members should ensure that they help voters appreciate the good job that the PF government is doing and explain to them why they must renew its mandate in 2016.

Mr. Chama is also advising PF members and supporters to sustain responsible political conduct and do away with intolerance, the use of intemperate language and insults.
