Adele mends rift with estranged dad as he battles bowel cancer

ADELE has decided to bury the hatchet with her estranged dad, Marc Evans, as he battles bowel cancer.

The Hello singer – who just made her incredible comeback this week after a 3-year hiatus – once said she would spit on her dad if she were to ever come face to face.

But it seems the British superstar has had a change of heart, after releasing what she described as a “make-up record”.

“Adele and I are fine, it was just a misunderstanding,” Marc told The Sun on Sunday.

“We’ve patched things up, everything’s fine, but I don’t want to make further comment. We’re fine.”

Mum-of-1 Adele had an explosive fallout with her dad after his suggestion that her troubles with men could have been down to him leaving her mum when she was little.

And ranting about the remarks in 2012, Adele said: “He’s f*****g blown it. He will never hear from me again.

“It makes me angry. To come back after 10 years and be like, ‘Maybe her problem with men comes down to me.’

“It’s like, ‘How dare you comment on my life?” It makes my blood boil.”

The pair are reported to have mended their broken relationship with the help of Adele’s grandmother, after Marc wanted to meet his grandchild.
