Zambians urged to reject all forms of tribalism as the country celebrates uhuru

The United Freedom Fighters of Zambia Independence (UFFZI) has called on Zambians to reject all forms of tribalism in the country as Zambia commemorates its 51st Independence anniversary.

UFFZI National Director, Sikota Wina has told QFM News via telephone that freedom fighters worked as one people to gain the freedom that the country is currently enjoying.

Mr. Wina says there is need for Zambians to follow that path of being united to foster social development.

He says there is need to foster unity which the founding fathers of this nation forged and that all generations to come should uphold this unity.

Mr Wina says the liberation of Zambia was above tribe and individuals.

He has explained that the ‘One Zambia One Nation’ is not just a slogan but a reminder to all Zambians that there is only one Zambia which should be safeguarded.
