Mutesa calls for genuine change after prayer & fasting

Opposition Zambians for Empowerment and Development (ZED) President Fredrick Mutesa says the day of national prayer and fasting observed on Sunday 18th October will become more meaningful if people begin to show genuine change.

Dr Mutesa saymutesas if people took the day seriously, genuine change should start manifesting in both their public and private lives.

He has told Qfm News that people should aim at upholding integrity in all aspects of their lives after taking part in the prayer and fasting.

Dr. Mutesa believes if this happens Zambia is likely to see less injustice and reduced levels of lack of respect for the rule of law.

He says corruption and selfishness, which he notes are vices that are currently eating on the moral fabric of the Zambian society, will also lessen.
