Government has encouraged women entrepreneurs to take advantage of the availability of infrastructure that government working with the private sector is providing through the ultra modern industrial infrastructure programme.
Commerce Trade and Industry Minister Margret Mwanakatwe says government and the private sector are doing this through the development of the multi economic facility zones, industrial parks, value chain and industrial clusters.
She says women entrepreneurs can take advantage of this availability infrastructure in conducting business, adding value to their raw material to produce high quality products that can compete favorably on the international market.
Mrs. Mwanakatwe has also urged women to continue taking advantage of the agreements that Zambia is a party to so that the can access markets and sale their products so that they can contribute meaningfully to national development.
She further states that women have huge potential which if utilized can move the country forward.
