Egypt fires 3 past Zambia

Zambia v Egypt XI

Egypt last evening beat Zambia 3-0 in an international friendly played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with Ahmed Hassan Koka netting two goals.

Ahmed Hassan Koka opened the scoring for Egypt in the 3rd minute of the game with a back-heeled goal before Bassem Morsyy came very close to doubling the score for the Pharaohs soon after.

After 25 minutes a well struck free-kick from Bassem Morsi flew straight at Kennedy Mweene who made the save before El-Nenny skied his effort from outside the 18 area.

Early in the second half Egypt struck again, Omar Gaber sent in a low cross from the right and Ahmed Hassan Koka did the job.

Midway through the second half, Hegazy got forward and got a header on goal, but the attempt was cleared by Zambia.

Zambia created a few half chances late in the game, but nothing to really trouble the Egyptians.

In the final minute of the game, Amr Gamal slotted home from close range to give Egypt a fine 3-0 win. Omar Gaber was on hand to create his second goal on the night.

Zambia no match for Hassan-inspired Egypt
