ATI Bill is a good document – Shikapwasha

ShikapwashaFormer Information and Broadcasting Services Minister Ronnie Shikapwasha says any further delays in enacting the Access to Information Bill into law is unnecessary.

Lieutenant General Shikapwasha has since advised the PF government to realize that the Bill is not as dangerous as it thinks it is.

He says having been a Cabinet Minister who participated in the formulation of the Bill under the MMD government; he believes the Access to Information Bill is a good document.

Lieutenant General Shikapwasha notes that the MMD government would have passed the Bill into law had funds to enforce its implementation been available.
