Sinkamba to use private sector to grow economy

The Opposition Green Party leader Peter Sinkamba says growing the private sector will be his government’s major thrust of improving Zambia’s economy if voted in office.

Mr. Sinkamba notes that his party believes that a vibrant private sector is what is needed to sustain the economy on the path of real growth and make things better for ordinary Zambians.

He says his government will therefore do everything it can to create the right conditions and environment for businesses to operate optimally and thereby transform the economy.

Mr. Sinkamba states that his government will also take bold decisions to review the current tax system, introduce business-friendly tax policies and incentives to strengthen the capacity of the private sector.
