Politicians intending to shun prayers may not be christians – Chama

The ruling Patriotic Front says it is not bothered by some opposition political parties intending to shun this month’s national day of prayer and fasting because it suspects that not all are Christians.Davis Chama

PF Secretary General Davies Chama says his party does not understand how any political party can shun such an important undertaking when Zambia is a Christian nation by declaration.

Mr. Chama has told Qfm News that whether other political parties worship other things other than God, the ruling party will keep them in mind on 18th October when the whole nation beseeches God in prayer.

And Mr. Chama has refuted claims that the PF government has opted to seek God because it is incapable of governing and resolving the current economic crisis on its own.

He says PF government was voted for by the people to deal with economic challenges and as such will deal with the current economic crisis head on.
