The Evangelic Youth Alliance International (EYAI) has encouraged Zambians to ignore politicians enticing them to shun the national day of prayer and fasting saying they do not mean well for the nation.
EYAI Executive Director Moses Lungu says he finds it difficult to understand leaders aspiring to be in office asking their followers to shun such an important event.
Reverend Lungu says this is the time to know which leaders have qualities of governing the nation and those that fear God.
He says Zambia is a Christian nation and leaders who aspire to be in office must have Christian principles in them.
