Former National Restoration Party (NAREP) National Secretary Reverend Jevan Kamanga says it is illogical for UPND President Hakainde Hichilema to state that God is upset with Zambians.

Reverend Kamanga has told QFM News in a statement that Mr. Hichilema must know his limits and not pull God in his selfish pursuit.

Reverend Kamanga says the UPND Leader does not realize what would happen in the country if God was upset with the people.

And Reverend Kamanga says he is disappointed and disturbed by the statement coming from Mr.

Hichilema in downplaying the day of prayer and fasting which was called by President Lungu saying he is not inspiring confidence in people he leads.

He says he has serious doubts in leaders like Mr. Hichilema who behaves in such a manner as being displayed now.

He adds that the UPND Leader must tell Zambians the truth as to where he stands with regards to spiritual matters.

Reverend Kamanga, who is now a PF Member, says if Mr. Hichilema claims to be an Elder in the SDA Church, he will do well to tell the nation why he goes against basic teachings of the Lord and Master, Jesus Christ.

He says the UPND Leader must also tell the nation why he is afraid to attend the national day of prayer and fasting and whether he wants the country to continue in the state it is in now.

Reverend Kamanga has since appealed to the people of Zambia to ignore Mr. Hichilema’s call and unite for a common good to see the Zambian land healed and restored.
