DEC becoming danger to itself-Changala

Governance Activist Brebnar Changala says reports that the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) is investigating properties owned by South African based Zambian business tycoon James Ndambo are a source of worry.

Mr Changala has told Q-News that Mr. Ndambo has delighted many Zambians with his generosity and many citizens are looking up to him, hence the move by the Commission to target his properties without giving direction to the nation as to what is going on shows that the DEC is becoming a danger to itself and the country at large.

He has accused the Commission of grabbing property without conducting due investigations which he says should not be the case.

Mr Changala has urged the Commission to learn the art of effective communication and not to do things so as to excite certain quarters of society, but rather for public interest.
