The Zambia Compulsory Standards Agency (ZCSA) has cautioned members of the public against consuming Gold Blend Whiskey which allegedly killed two people in Mumbwa district last Friday.
On Friday last week, two people including a 14-year old girl, died after allegedly consuming Gold blend whiskey in Mumbwa district.
Zambia Compulsory Standards Agency Communications Officer, Caroline Kalombe says the agency has instituted investigations and is therefore advising members of the public to desist from consuming the whiskey brand in question until investigations are concluded.
Ms Kalombe adds that the agency is also directing suppliers of the said product to stop distributing it until investigations are concluded.
