The Saboi Imboela led national democratic congress has accused president Hakainde Hichilema of placing Joseph Akafumba at the ministry of home affairs and internal security as permanent secretary to destabilize the opposition political parties.
Ms. Imboela says Mr. Akafumba using the registrar of societies working together with the other NDC party faction with the aim of removing her from the NDC presidency.
Speaking at media briefing in Lusaka, Ms. Imboela has warned the ruling united party for national development to stay away from her party.
Meanwhile Ms. Imboela has accused the UPND of not respecting women as seen from the few number of women it has appointed to cabinet positions coupled with the maneuvers to remove her from the NDC presidency.
