Opposition has no capacity to provide checks and balances to govt-Mapani

The Ruling United Party for National Development has claimed that there is no opposition in this country that is providing proper checks and balances to the ruling party.

UPND Namwala Member of Parliament Moono Mapani has expressed concern that the main opposition which is the Patriotic Front has concentrated on insulting the head of state instead of giving checks and balances to him and his administration.

Mr. Mapani has alleged that the main opposition political party have no capacity to provide checks and balances to government owing the manner they governed this country.

He tells QTV news in an interview that the people of Zambia will not waste their time anymore as they have confidence in president Hakainde Hichilema’s leadership as he is committed in improving their living standards.

The Namwala law maker has emphasized that the UPND administration has so far fulfilled some of the campaigns it made to the Zambian people such as the free education, among others.
