Finance and National Planning Minister Situmbeko Musokotwane has dismissed assertions of lack of transparency and accountability in the manner the government is handling the Chinese debt.
Dr. Musokotwane says certain questions being asked by Zambians pertaining to government’s discussions with creditors have already been answered.
He says China being one of Zambia’s creditors had its own issues that delayed the discussions with government.
Dr. Musokotwane says the outcome of the past discussions government has had with the creditors have been posted on the ministry’s website which anyone can access.
