Make it easy for women to do mining, Kalesha urges govt

Emeralds and Semi-Precious Stones Mining Association of Zambia President Victor Kalesha has urged government to make it easy for women intending to venture into mining of precious stones to obtain licenses.

Mr. Kalesha states that women should be encouraged to participate in the gemstone sector as they are more serious and committed when it comes to investments.

He notes that gemstone mining is a lucrative business that can be very beneficial to women who are interested.
