The Parliamentary Committee on Health has noted with concern what it has termed as a propaganda article trending on social media purporting that it has exonerated the previous PF administration from claims of having procured expired medical supplies from Honey Bee Pharmacy.

Committee Chairperson Christopher Kalila has told QTV news that this is a total misrepresentation of facts which should be dismissed with the contempt it deserves.

Dr Kalila says the parliamentary committee on Health, Community Development and Social Services presented its report to the plenary session of the National Assembly on the 23rd June, 2022 which is far from the purported matter of defective medical supplies being referred to in the said article.

He adds that at no time did the Committee delve into the matter of the Honey Bee scandal or expired medical supplies as reported in the said malicious social media article.
