An albino boy has had the forefinger on his left hand brutally chopped-off

A ten-year old albino boy of Mkushi has had the forefinger on his left hand brutally chopped-off by three people.

Confirming the incident, police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga says police in Mkushi have since launched a manhunt for a male only identified as Kendrick of Mkushi and two of his accomplices for the offense of grievous bodily harm.

Mr. Hamoonga says the victim’s forefinger was chopped-off using a sharp instrument by the suspects on June 25, 2022 between 09:00 hours and 11:00 hours at Chilomo area, Kashimba village in chitina chiefdom of mkushi district.

He says brief facts of the matter are that the victim was left home with his fellow minors after his parents went to church when Kendrick came with his accomplices went to the house where they called the victim to draw close and immediately he did, the other two held him and cut off his forefinger using a big sharp scissors and knife and later went away with the finger.

Mr. Hamoonga says the matter was reported by the victim’s father who has been identified as Patrick Mwape, a peasant farmer who said he only received a report whilst at church about the incident and he rushed home only to find his son crying and his finger missing.
