A 36-year old woman of Lusaka has committed suicide by jumping off the Misisi footbridge along Kafue road.
Deputy Police Public Relations Officer Danny Mwale says the incident happened today,22nd June,2022 between 10:30 hours and 11:00 hours.
Mr Mwale explains that the deceased who has been identified as Mutinta Maambo sustained a deep cut on the head and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH).
He says Police have launched investigations to establish the actual cause of the incident.
