Social Scientist Innocent Kolala has observed that there is currently no opposition political party that is offering genuine checks and balances to the ruling government.
Mr. Kolala tells QTV news that what the country is witnessing is rhetoric kind of checks and balances.
He says there is too much politicking on part of the opposition political parties.
Mr. Kolala says opposition leaders in the country must provide solutions to the ruling party on how best it can govern the country as opposed to politicking.
He states that it is worrying to see opposition political parties condemning each and every policy or development the new dawn government is bringing.
Mr Kolala points out that the new dawn government has introduced free education and that expected that the opposition leaders will provide guidance to government on how best this can be implemented so that no child is left behind in accessing education.
He has advised the opposition that being in opposition does not mean it is a war between the ruling party and those in opposition.
