Monitor Social Cash Transfer disbursement, govt urged

The Opposition Leadership Movement is urging the government to ensure that the over K457 million disbursed towards the social cash transfer reaches the intended beneficiaries in all the 116 districts.

Leadership Movement media Director Tatila Tatila says government should monitor pay point managers of social cash transfer who are allegedly deducting money from beneficiaries.

Mr Tatila says the party welcomes the release of the over K457 million towards the social cash transfer program.
