Economist Kelvin Chisanga has observed that the delayed International Monetary Fund-IMF credit facility could jeopardize the implementation of the 2022 national budget as well the formulation of the 2023 budget.
Mr Chisanga has since advised the government to look for alternative funding other than depending on the IMF programme.
He has stressed the need to develop home grown solutions that will enable the country survive even without the IMF programme.
Mr. Chisanga has cited the mining industry as one sector that can help achieve the country’s economic goals.
