CRAZ calls on ERB to reconsider monthly review of fuel prices

The Commuters Rights Association of Zambia (CRAZ) has called on the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) to seriously reconsider the monthly review of fuel pump prices.

CRAZ president Aaron Kamuti has told QTV news that the monthly review and adjustment of fuel pump prices is doing more harm than good especially to those in business.

Mr Kamuti says this has brought confusion especially to those who are in the transport business, hence the need to revert back to the old way of reviewing the fuel pump price.

He states that sitting down and negotiating on the bus fares each time there is an adjustment in the pump price of fuel is confusing.

Mr Kamuti says going forward; ERB and other sector players need to do what is expected of them as this monthly review is not helping the situation.
