ZCCN calls for increase uptake of  sustainable and renewable forms of energy

Zambia Climate Change Network ZCCN project development officer Ali Kaunda has called for an increase uptake of  sustainable and renewable forms of energy that are environmentally  friendly.

Mr. Kaunda says clean sources of energy such as the solar energy is economically affordable unlike the use of fossil fuel which threatens biodiversity.

He says fossil fuels are the largest  pollutants of the environment and the atmosphere, hence the need for people to migrate from the use of fossil fuels to alternative sources of renewable energy .

Mr. Kaunda says the use of clean sources of energy should be promoted in Zambia so that the country can move at the same pace  with the global village.
