The Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) has observed that the country has not yet gotten to a point where people are able to associate freely.

FODEP President, Mwenda Mumbuna says the country is still witnessing incidents where some ruling party cadres are still harassing people.

Mr Mumbuna says this is unfortunate because Zambians voted against such in the 2021 elections.

Mr. Mumbuna who spoke to QTV news in an interview says there is need to improve democratic tenets in the country.

He states that though there are some notable improvements, there is need to ensure all the tenets of democracy are adhered as promised by the UPND prior to the 2021 elections.
