Cabinet approves the review of the Public Order Act

President Hakainde Hichilema has disclosed that Cabinet has approved the review of the Public Order Act.

In his Facebook post, President Hichilema says the new dawn government continues to reject political violence and refuses to back down in the fight against corruption no matter the opposition encountered.

The Head of State has vowed that he will not rest until he delivers on the promises of creating jobs, empowering youths and improving the lives of Zambians.

He is happy to note that every week government is making progress that creates jobs and opens up opportunities for Zambian youths and businesses. 

President Hichilema has explained that this month alone, government has announced historic investments in the mining sector that are set to create thousands of jobs and generate millions in revenues.

He adds that government has opened up new opportunities for local businesses through the recently held EU-Zambia Economic Forum.

The President has further reiterated that he will continue the work to improve governance. 

And Mr Hichilema has announced that the selection of 30,000 teachers to be recruited by government has been finalised.
