Bauleni residents accuse their ward councillor of tempering with water provision

Residents of Bauleni compound in Lusaka have accused their ward councillor of tempering with the control box for water pump that they fetch water from.

some residents of Bauleni compound tells Q-News that the Kabulonga ward 19 councilor  Kosamu Tembo has  been  planning to build a ward community office on a place where there is a water pump.

The residents lament that if the control box for water tank is tempered with they will no longer have a source of water in the area stating that it  is the only pump that the majority of Bauleni residents fetch water from.

They have since called on relevant authorities to quickly intervene before the area councilor goes ahead builds the office.

But Mr. Tembo has clarified that he will not temper with the control box for the water pump and another facility providing service to the community but only improve their standards as they construct the ward community office.
