Mkushi’s Musofu Primary School will get a new borehole following the approval by the constituency development committee to set up a water scheme at the rural school.
School Head teacher, Savior Mutakila says this approval is timely as the current existing borehole breaks down frequently, a situation which makes it hard for the school to operate without water.
Mr Mutakila says this is compounded by the rationing of water in the district, making it difficult for institutions of learning to function to the expected standard.
