Opposition Economic and Equity Party (EEP) President, Chilufya Tayali has called for the impeachment of President Hakainde Hichilema.
Speaking during a media briefing held in Lusaka today, Mr. Tayali has charged that President Hichilema is not governing the country according to the rule of law.
He has cited the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) as one of the programs allegedly not being run in accordance with the rule of law, stating that CDF guidelines are not in accordance with the CDF Act of 2018.
Mr Tayali further accuses President Hichilema of using his powers to institute investigations in matters involving some members of the opposition political parties.
Meanwhile Mr. Tayali says he will report Peter Mwale and Vincent Makondo to the police for allegedly lying to the Anti corruption Commission that Director of Public Prosecutions Lillian Siyuni and former KCM liquidator Milingo Lungu are related.
