There is no difference between UPND and PF – Tayali

Economic and Equity party president Chilufya Tayali has charged that there is no difference between how the previous regime and the current regime is governing the country.

Speaking in an interview with q news, Mr. Tayali notes that the opposition political parties are currently intimidated by the government and party officials when they want to offer proper checks and balances through arrests and threats.

Mr. Tayali fears that democracy is slowly fading in the country stressing that many opposition political parties will shun from speaking against the wrong doings of the current government.

He has since urged government to create an enabling environment for the opposition political parties to offer checks and balances.
