An Employment is a time bomb that will blow in the face of govt -ZEHEST

Zambian Empowerment Hub for Entrepreneurship and Skills Training (ZEHEST) says unemployment is a time bomb that will blow in the face of government if not well managed.

ZEHEST Director Clarence Muzyamba tells Q-news that the over 100,000 candidates who applied for the 11,276 health sector jobs is an indication of how dire the unemployment situation is in the country.

Mr. Muzyambva says the new dawn government should come up with proper solutions to addressing the issue of unemployment as majority of the unemployed are the youth who proved to be the majority voters during the 2021 general election.

He states that job creation is one of the way of easing the impact of the high cost of living on the citizenry, hence the need for the government to seriously address the unemployment crisis.
